A young man has died in a fiery crash in Perth’s southeast in what was the start of a devastating few hours on WA roads.
Police say a white Holden Commodore veered off the road and hit a tree, bursting into flames, on Welshpool Rd East, Wattle
The 21-year-old male driver died at the scene.
A burning tree fell, narrowly missing emergency workers as they tried to free the driver, 7NEWS understands.
Meanwhile, two drivers are fighting for life after a serious head-on crash in the Wheatbelt town of Badgingarra, 200km north of Perth.
A brown Holden Commodore travelling north collided with a blue Mazda CX-5 heading south on Brand Hwy just after 7.30am on Tuesday.
Both drivers — a man aged 40 in the Holden and a man aged 32 in the Mazda — were rushed to Jurien Bay Hospital with critical injuries.
In another emergency on WA roads, a motorbike rider suffered serious leg injuries in a crash with a car in Parmelia about 12.45am on Tuesday.
