A multi-vehicle incident on the Trans-Canada Highway near the 6 Mile Road offramp has been cleared, according to DriveBC.
A box truck could be seen flipped on its side in the centre divider between the south and northbound lanes on Thursday.
The north and southbound lanes were down to one lane of traffic in each direction between 12:15 p.m. and 3 p.m.
DriveBC says delays should be expected due to congestion.
BC Emergency Health Services says paramedics were called at 11:13 a.m. for the crash, and sent two ambulances and a paramedic supervisor.
“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital,” says Public Information Officer Rachelle Bown.
Robyn Skinner, marketing director with Phillips, says the truck was carrying concert equipment for the Phillips Backyard Music Festival, however, there will be no disruptions to the concert.
A CHEK cameraperson on scene says a crane is being brought to turn the truck upright.
